Literacy for a Lifetime™ is a matching grant program partnering Educational Development Corporation (EDC) with businesses, foundations, and individuals to support local educational institutions.

How it works

*  Donations or grants are given to the organization or school. The organization or school chooses the books they would like to receive from the Usborne Books catalog.

*  The total of the books will equal 150% of the amount given. 100% will be purchased with the donation or grant money and the other 50% will be donated by Usborne Books.

*  Donations may qualify as tax deductible

*  The organization or school can choose from over 2000 Usborne and Kane Miller titles.

*  Shipping is free!

How often can Literacy for a Lifetime be used?

The matching grant program can be used as often as needed with no maximum on the amount that can be donated or matched.

Can Literacy for a Lifetime be combined with other programs?

Absolutely!  Literacy for a Lifetime can be combined with Book Fairs, Reach for the Stars, and Read, Recycle, Refresh...Your Library!
