What is a Home Show?
A Home Show is an opportunity for you to invite friends and family into your home to touch and see Usborne Books, make wish lists and order thier favorites. You get FREE BOOKS based on the sales at your show!
What do I have to do?
First, contact me at 224-538-1218 to schedule your Home Show. Then invite your friends and family. Be sure to invite four times as many guests as you anticipate coming: While people mean well, people often forget or make other plans before the date of the party. Invite your guests three times: reminders always help! I will set up an e-show so that you can let friends and family know that even if they cannot attend your party, they can place an order! Especially encourage those who live far away to check out the website and place an order! I will also get catalogs to you to show your friends and family. It is very important to get outside orders (orders from those who cannot make it to your party) to ensure you are getting all the FREE BOOKS you deserve!
At this point, you should browse the website and create your wishlist. This will give you a good indication of what kind of sales you want to generate at your Home Show. You should also talk to friends and family about booking their own Home Show -- you will get additonal books for bookings from your show:
* First booking = $20 of books for only $5!
* Second booking = $20 of books for only $5!
* Third booking = any one item up to $35 retail FOR FREE!!
Make follow-up calls to remind your guests about your party!
What will YOU do?
I will be in constant contact with you, checking up to see if you need more invitations or catalogs and encouraging outside orders, finding out details of your party, and so on. I am always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have!
I will arrive at your home about 30 minutes before your party begins and set up a small display in your home. I will meet your guests and give a brief presentation about select titles from Usborne's 2,000+ titles! I will meet with each guest individually to discuss her specific needs, suggest titles for her child(children) and place her order. When the books arrive, I will bag and label each order and personally deliver them to your home. I will follow up with each guest to make sure they are 100% satisfied with their order! If there are any problems at all, I will fix them!
